ASHTON WOLF
Since his graduation from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, ASHTON WOLF has performed in hundreds of venues and in hundreds of cities across the country. As a writer, Ashton has had three original musicals produced for the stage; JACK OF ALL TRADES (the recipient of 6 DRAMA-LOGUE AWARDS - Including Ashton’s award for “Best Director”); COMING HOME (Cal State Los Angeles) and CLUB MOROCCO (for which Ashton wrote the musical arrangements). On stage he has performed at LA MIRADA CIVIC LIGHT OPERA, DERBY DINNER PLAYHOUSE, CANDLELIGHT PAVILION, WEST END PLAYHOUSE and THE SANTA MONICA CIVIC AUDITORIUM to name but a few…As an actor, his favorite rolls include Rooster Hannigan in ANNIE, Jackson in PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES, The Pirate King in PIRATES OF PENZANCE and Teen Angel in GREASE. Having appeared in many Films and Television Productions, he has worked with such notables as John Goodman, Chevy Chase, Dan Ackroyd, Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis, Ray Charles, Cuba Gooding, Sr. and many others. As an accomplished piano player/vocalist and arranger he has worked on THE QUEEN MARY and on THE ROYAL CARRIBEAN CRUISE LINE. JON HUFFMAN
Actor, writer, and director, Jon Huffman divides his time between theatre and film. Onstage, he has played a wide variety of roles, from Iago in OTHELLO and Brutus in JULIUS CAESAR, to Harold Hill in THE MUSIC MAN and Zach in A CHORUS LINE, and myriad roles in between. Directing credits include THE SOUND OF MUSIC, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and STEEL MAGNOLIAS. Jon’s television appearances include recurring roles on DESIGNING WOMEN, GENERAL HOSPITAL, and DAYS OF OUR LIVES, along with guest-starring roles on dozens of programs. Jon has also appeared in many films, including THE TEMPEST, CSS HUNLEY, ASYLUM, LOLITA, and THE LOTTERY. His plays THE STICK-UP and STUDY BREAK have both been produced at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville. These days, Jon devotes most of his time to screenwriting. His films include CONVICTED IN THE WOMB (Showtime/Paramount), LEP IN THE HOOD (Trimark), A DREAM DENIED (Trimark), and CALL ME DONALD (Showtime/Alliance-Atlantis). Jon’s love of the film-noir genre and his passion for big-band swing collided to produce his involvement, as co-creator, in CLUB MOROCCO.
BARBARA F. CULLEN
Barbara F. Cullen studied at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and has been Choreographer at Derby Dinner Playhouse for the past twenty years. She has choreographed more than one hundred professional theatre productions, including A CHORUS LINE, 42nd STREET, and EVITA, at Derby Dinner Playhouse; and A CHRISTMAS CAROL, at Actor’s Theatre of Louisville. Directing credits include TAFETTAS, FOREVER PLAID, AND JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Barbara has performed as a vocalist with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and with various bands across the country. As an actress, her favorite roles have included Molly Brown in THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, Adelaide in GUYS AND DOLLS, and Nugget Rialto in CLUB MOROCCO. For the past six years, she has taught Musical Theatre Dance at the University of Louisville. An accomplished pianist, Barbara enjoys writing her own music, and has also worked as a professional drummer. Her love of Swing Music dates back to an early age—her childhood was underscored with the music of Benny Goodman, Sarah Vaughn, and Frank Sinatra.
